 Sign of the Times?

I am not talking about the end of the world or about the four horsemen of the apocalypse.  I am talking about the nifty signs that have sprouted in many yards around the city of Muncie.  The signs proclaim that “Property Taxes are Killing Delaware County”.  I completely agree with that diagnoses, and am proud to sport one of the signs in my own front yard.

If you agree that property taxes are killing Delaware County (and Muncie), I suggest that you stop by Outfitters on north Wheeling (across from Gaddis Chrysler) and pick up a sign of your own.  There are still a few left and they are being sold at cost for $4.00 each.  While checking on availability of the signs I was advised that some new signs with one of four different slogans have been ordered by the “Citizens of Delaware County for Property Tax Repeal”.  They will be available by September 25th, the day of a very important Meeting being held at the Delaware County Fairgrounds for all concerned citizens of Delaware County. A goodwill donation will be asked for the signs as they have cost some caring citizens a lot of money, but be aware that nobody will be denied a sign because most of their spending money was devoured by property taxes. You might want to consider formally volunteering as a “foot soldier” in this cause in exchange for a sign!

When the new signs arrive, there will be four different slogans to choose from.  The price is right, the message is critical, & the signs look better than those nasty “For Sale” signs that are also taking root.  Please note that I have no affiliation with Outfitters or anyone else except that I am also opposed to the excessive government spending and obscene property taxes that are plaguing our fine city.
